She knows, look into
her all knowing eyes.
She has seen them play,
and she was seen them laugh.

She is a unicorn,
far different from you.
I am with her now,
because I'm one too.


This is Iisaii (Eyy-sai), Princess of the Unicorns and last of their Royal Family.
Their kingdoms forest was shared with a neighbouring realm of humans which she was frequently visited by their Prince.
She fell inlove with him, and became so infatuated with him that she decided to leave her kind to become human.

Once human, the prince fell inlove with the mysterious maidens beauty and for a while the two lived happily.
After a time however, Iisaii grew lonely, and longed for her kin. The prince count not make her happy, no matter how much he tried.. and slowly, his love for her faded.

Now, Iisaii roams free, half woman, half unicorn, never whole, forever alone.

This is my entry to 's new competition, Princess with a Secret.
She is a unicorn girl who has to live with her secret past life forever, as unicorns are imortal.

Yeah.. i made it all up, cept the poem, which I found on the internet, created by Anonymous, so dont ask me who wrote it as I have no idea

Im REALLY proud of this. I can honastly say, yep.. this is my best work I have ever done.
NO this was not traced ontop of a photo and coloured in, this was freehand drawn by myself using Lucia's Stock image as a reference.

Silly Fact

While in the process of painting this, my puppy chewed through the cable for my wacom tablet!
I was in the middle of painting the clouds, and suddenly everything stopped. He had chewed right through the cable and was happily sucking on the end not conected to the computer (thank god).
I was DEVISTATED!
Pinky (my wacom) is one of my most cherished things in the whole world! I was so upset and shocked i slumped over and began sobbing.
Jeremy saw what had happened, and unpluged everything straight away and took it all into the other room.
After 5 mins of crying, he came back with my Pinky and pluged it in.. and.. HE HAD FIXED IT!
He fixed all the wires together again, and then sticky taped it all back, it looks a bit dodge, but it WORKS!
So, there you are, if it wasnt for Jeremy pulling a McGiver, I probably never would have finished this piece.
